He is best known for his work on ''The Amazing Spider-Man'', ''The Avengers'', ''Captain America'', and ''Doctor Strange'' for Marvel Comics and for his work on Superman for DC Comics including "The Death of Superman" storyline.

Among the comic characters Stern co-created are Nebula, Monica Rambeau, Doomsday, Hobgoblin and Maxima. He also created the Westcoast Avengers team. Provided by Wikipedia
